Description: After years of managing the social channels for the Ad Council’s Love Has No Labels campaign, we pitched a new direction for their daily social content that would keep them relevant in the ever-changing social media landscape.

For a long time, Love Has No Labels relied on their text-driven, black-and-white branding for the majority of their posts. However, our monthly reporting showed a decline in performance.

We suggested a revamp: 1) Doubling down on successful content streams with refreshed designs and new execution variations, and 2) Introducing new streams that play into high-performing content types across platforms. We would do this without breaking the bank or upending our production processes.

By adding more color and photography, developing deep-dive carousels, and using existing assets to produce video and animated content, we were able to reverse the course. We stayed the decline in engagement in our first year and set ourselves on a path toward growth in the future.
